Traveling with Navio

Before you go offline

  • Open the trip in the mobile app while online and let the latest changes sync.
  • Open the trip's Settings tab and check Offline access.
  • If the map is not saved, choose Save the map while you are on a reliable connection.
  • Reopen the trip once before departure if collaborators made late changes.

What stays available

The mobile app keeps synced trip details in an account-specific local database. You can review the itinerary, reservations, budget, and packing list, and many edits are queued until the connection returns. Navio automatically tries to save maps for active or upcoming trips within 30 days when the phone is on Wi-Fi and the trip has mapped stops.

Place search, new recommendations, the companion, reservation import, live flight updates, fresh alerts, sharing, and other server actions still need the internet. A saved map covers the area around mapped stops, not every place in a country.

When you reconnect

Queued changes sync automatically. If another device changed the same trip, Navio merges what it can and records recent merge decisions in Settings. For competing text edits, it can keep both versions so nothing disappears silently.
