Understand reservation types and linked records

Supported bookings

Navio supports flights, trains, buses and coaches, ferries, hotels, cruises, car rentals, transfers and shuttles, restaurants, activities, and other transport. A reservation can be confirmed, pending, or cancelled.

Where bookings appear

• Bookings appear in Reservations and on each covered itinerary day.
• Activity bookings also create a linked itinerary activity.
• Hotel and accommodation details can provide the lodging start and end points for a day's route.
• Flights can show live status on eligible Premium trips.

Booking totals and the budget

When Add booking totals to the Budget ledger is selected, a booking with a total creates a linked expense. Editing the booking updates that expense. Marking it cancelled removes the linked amount, and deleting the booking removes its linked expense and activity.

Edit linked booking costs from Reservations, not from the Budget ledger. That keeps one source of truth for the booking.
