Every trip has a Budget tab. Set your total once, and Navio tracks spending against it as you add expenses.
How it works
- Set Budget defines the total for the trip.
- Add Expense records anything: hotels, meals, tickets, that ceramic bowl you didn't need.
- Each expense takes a category and a date, so you can see where the money actually goes.
- Spending in another currency? Pick it on the expense and Navio converts it for the running total.
Reading the numbers
The progress bar shows spent versus budget at a glance, and the category breakdown shows the shape of your spending. A rule of thumb that holds up: roughly 40% on where you sleep, 25% on food, 20% on doing things, and the rest as buffer, because the best moments are usually unplanned.
